Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has concluded preparations for the take-off on the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with effect from 2010.
The Registrar and Chief Executive of the Board, Professor 'Dibu Ojerinde made this known on Tuesday, in Benin City, Nigeria.
Professor Ojerinde said that the Board's examination syllabus and brochure had been harmonised to accommodate the new development, just as he appealed to all institutions to cooperate with the Board to make the new initiative a success.
The JAMB boss also appealed to all institutions with shortfalls in admission spaces to come forward and request for high-scoring candidates listed by the Board for possible placement, saying""The Board considers all candidates suitable for admission to any Monotechnics, Polytechnics, specialised institutions and Colleges of Education in the country.
